-Compassionate and caring
-Comfortable with death and dying
-Open and non-judgemental
-Respectful of the clients cultural and religious beliefs
-Able to maintain confidentiality
-Willing to participate in training to build your skills
- 30 hours of volunteer training
- $75 Course Fee includes training materials (reimbursable after 20 volunteer hours)
- $15 Annual Membership includes volunteer insurance coverage
- Next training session will be in the Fall 2026
Fill out an application form. Please contact the 100 Mile Hospice office to email a copy to you or pop by the office to pick up a paper copy.
You may become a “Friend of Hospice” by requesting a “Friend” membership form. (annual fee of $10).

Donate your bottles and cans. Take the bottles and cans to our local recycling facility (Formerly called Gold Trail Recycling) and say you would like to donate these to 100 Mile Hospice Account.
In Memory Donations:
You can make a donation in memory of a friend or loved one. Please include a note with your donation stating who the donation is being made in memory of.
Donations of $20 or more can be issued a tax receipt upon request.
If you choose the e-transfer option and would like a tax receipt, please include your mailing address in the notes section.
