  1. Fill out a 100 Mile District Hospice Palliative Care Society Volunteer Application. Contact 100 Mile Hospice to email a copy to you or pop by the office to pick up a paper copy. After the application is completed, please email the completed application or drop it off at the 100 Mile Hospice office. 
  2. Next you will be contacted to set up a screening interview with 100 Mile Hospice Program Manager. 
  3. Once the screening interview is complete and approved you will be able to attend the 100 Mile Hospice Basic Training Course. Attendance all 4 days is required for completion.
  4. After the 100 Mile Hospice Basic Training Course is completed, you will be asked to come in for a post training interview. You will then need to complete a criminal record check, drivers abstract (if applicable), and complete other 100 Mile Hospice documents.
  5. The final step to becoming a 100 Mile Hospice Volunteer is Orientation. Orientation lasts approximately 3 hours. 

- 30 hours of volunteer training

- $75 Course Fee includes training materials (reimbursable after 20 volunteer hours)

- $15 Annual Membership includes volunteer insurance coverage

- Next training session will be in the Fall 2026

Donate your bottles and cans. Take the bottles and cans to our local recycling facility (Formerly called Gold Trail Recycling) and say you would like to donate these to 100 Mile Hospice Account.


In Memory Donations:

You can make a donation in memory of a friend or loved one. Please include a note with your donation stating who the donation is being made in memory of.


Tax Receipts:


Donations of $20 or more can be issued a tax receipt upon request.

If you choose the e-transfer option and would like a tax receipt, please include your mailing address in the notes section.
